Augathella State School was established in 1882. It is situated in Western Queensland, some eight hundred kilometres from the state capital of Brisbane on the banks of the Warrego River. It is part of the Charleville and District Cluster, which comes under the jurisdiction of Education Queensland’s Roma District Office. The town is situated approximately eight-five kilometres north of Charleville, which is the main centre for our town.
