Augathella State School was established in 1882. It is part of the Charleville and District Cluster, which comes under the jurisdiction of Education Queensland’s Roma District Office. The town is situated in Western Queensland, eight hundred kilometres from the state capital of Brisbane on the banks of the Warrego River. It is approximately eight-five kilometres north of Charleville. Enrolments consists of students Prep to Year 7 from the town and local district.
